Covid Scaremongering

Almost a third of the 42 Britons who have so far died from the Indian (Delta) Covid had been double jabbed, a new report has revealed.

From this it would seem that Covid kills hardly anybody. and the vaccine hardly protects anybody.

So you mean the deaths in the NorthWest from Indian variant are all caused by the vaccinations in the North West? And the vaccination in the South of the UK are not causing any deaths? We don’t look at all like Kenya, Montenegro, nor Turkey or the countries in the clips, none of whom have big vaccination numbers. Did I miss something?

      • Roobeedoo2 says:

No, Elizabeth, the graphs are showing Covid deaths before and after Covid vaccination programmes commenced in a number of countries, and what the projected deaths were to be following the commencement of those vaccination programmes. There’s no mention of variants in the data shown in the graphs and none of the countries included are directly compared against each other…

*Yes, Elizabeth is using a strawman argument, Clicky…*

*And possibly trying to Cathy Newman you…*

I am not changing any subject, don’t be clever. I am trying to understand what the videos are telling me! What are they saying? Are they showing that some vaccinations are better than others? That they are killing people? Some countries are faring better than others. In the UK, if vaccinations were causing deaths, do we have evidence? Who made these videos? Are they saying vaccines don’t work, or that they are killing people? Unconfuse me and do it clearly, please.

No idea on how to answer your questions, Elizabeth; except to say that I don’t know and, to be brutally honest, I don’t particularly care to try. It’s fairly obvious that the graphs are promoting a particular anti-Covid vaccine narrative and are quite crude, but then again that’s true of so many graphs used to sell a particular narrative during this whole Covidmania period…

          *Oh, that North West… /rolls eyes…*

          *It’s true, Clicky, I’m no Jordan Peterson…*

If the data is trustworthy, which is a big if, they are still difficult to interpret. I certainly don’t believe Covid has caused 600K deaths in the U.S., although there has been a lot of fanfare about that number.

    For Rose:

‘While early reports of NO role in the treatment of COVID-19 suggested its use for the treatment of established ARDS, NO seems to have a much earlier and more efficient prophylactic role. It inhibits a protease needed for canonical viral replication of SARS-CoV-2, namely Furin, by decreasing calcium’s cytosolic levels. This might add a significant tool for postexposure chemoprophylaxis in the at-risk group, especially medical personnel.’

Thanks Roobee, how very interesting, that’s exactly how I’ve been using it, isn’t instinct a wonderful thing.

Incidentally, I have been watching GBNews all week so far, most of it is compulsive viewing though they are still having the odd glitch, unfortunately I’m getting nothing else done.
