Bacon To Be Classified As Dangerous As Cigarettes By World Health Organization

The World Health Organization (WHO) will soon warn that some of America’s favorite meats are as dangerous a cigarettes.

WHO will target processed meats such as bacon, ham and sausages as causes of cancer and will say red meat is also hazardous to health in a decision to be released Monday. The findings resulted from a meeting of scientists from 10 countries.

Remarkable events in Portugal, no? A democratically elected government is denied the opportunity to govern because its policies challenge the European Union. The left wing coalition won more than fifty per cent of the vote; out of the single currency, an end to austerity, bollocks to the Lisbon Treaty etc. But Anibal Cavaco Silva, the constitutional president, has banned them from taking office because it’s ‘too risky’.

As Ambrose Evans-Pritchard puts it in The Daily Telegraph: ‘Europe’s socialists face a dilemma. They are at last waking up to the unpleasant truth that monetary union is an authoritarian Right-wing enterprise that has slipped its democratic leash, yet if they act on this insight in any way they risk being prevented from taking power. Brussels really has created a monster’. I wonder if they are ‘at last waking up’. And I wonder how many Labour MPs will look at Portugal and conclude that we would be much better out of this fundamentally undemocratic and arrogant bureaucracy?

The European Union faces long-term economic decline and the “love affair” of integration is at risk, Jean Claude-Juncker has said in a downbeat assessment of the bloc’s future.

“Economically, we see the end of Europe’s glorious years compared with what others are doing,” the president of the European Commission said.

The “dream” of a unified continent is at risk from “fissures and fractures” of national divisions and separatist movements, he said.

“The European Union is not going very well,” Mr Juncker said. “And so we must ensure that we keep alive the ambitions, hopes and dreams of Europe.”

Seems as tho “right wing” is used (by the left) as a synonym for authoritarian or totalitarian when from my perspective, the EU and similar utopian ventures are left wing/progressive ideas or maybe what Jonah Goldberg aptly called Liberal Fascism. But from either wing, Mussolini or Mao it’s all the same shit

  2. Ed says:

Exactly waltc! We ought to be able to see through this left/right paradigm that people seem to be trapped in as it can be a very divisive construct. As you quite rightly put it, they are but flip sides of the same coin and whichever “wing” takes root, their fruits are death in their millions.

    They say the number one cause of unnatural death in the last century was down to their government. This is known as democide;

Perhaps it’s all unraveling? Claiming bacon, processed meats, burgers, and red meat are as hazardous as smoking kind of negates the risk of smoking. It also shows their hand in seeking totalitarian social control by instilling fear as a means of manipulating the masses.

What we have to understand is that there is no such thing as the European UNION. The UNION is an illusion. The States which formed the European COMMUNITY did not intend to form a UNION similar to the UNITED States of America.
Years ago, I was a supporter of the Euro, but, at the time, I did not realise that the objective of the Euro was enforce conformity. In the USA, States like Massachusetts jealously guard their independence. They defer to Federal Government in matters of national defence and foreign affairs, but not much else. And yet they use the same unit of currency.
The reform of the so-called European UNION must entail a change of name to European COMMUNITY. Thus, the idea that the COMMUNITY could issue ‘directives’ would be anathema. It could only issue ‘best practices’, unless States, individually, agreed to the proposals. The idea of ‘majority voting’ makes no sense at all. Any State which chooses not to comply can do so because it is an independent Nation. There may be consequences, but they have a right to accept those consequences.
I find it sad that a really good idea – the European COMMUNITY – has been high-jacked by a tiny group of wealthy people and international conglomerates.

The goal from the outset was always “ever closer union”. The EEC was just a station on the way. And the current EU is also just another station along the way. That’s why, whatever happens, they always call for “More Europe”. And More Europe means less Independent Sovereign Statehood. And as far as I can see, Greece, Italy, and Portugal are no longer sovereign states, if their governments can be readily replaced with EU-compliant ones at any time.

Seems to me it was always the goal to recreate Hitlers reich only the name changed from Reich to the EU.

The problem with that junican is that it has previously been called “community” to lull you in in the first place. EEC or European Economic Community/ treaty of Rome 1957, then this morphed into the European Community In 1993 when the European Union formed. The EC was then quickly absorbed by the EU framework and any community ceased to exist. It’s designed to steal sovereignty and centralise power, that much should be obvious by now!

You guys know we’ve pondered why cancer rates still go up despite the number of smokers’ going down. Well it seems that a certain (academic) Dr James Tour of Rice University, in Houston, Texas has discovered this astonishing link between Carbon Black in tyres and lung diseases in smokers’.

Yup, only smokers’… for now at least.

Oh and our previously obscure Dr. Jimmy Tour goes on to state that all this combines in smokers’ lungs to turn them black! Now ain’t that hugely original, though he seemingly declines to actually show any examples of said BLACK LUNGS.

So it could well be that our cash-starved-let’s-play-with-things “researchers” are hunkering down for a fight with “BIG TYRE”.

Meantime Tobacco Control will doubtless issue letters to every race track and every tyre change facility demanding they sack or otherwise change the behaviour of any employee who smokes. And that they bar smokers’ from entering such premises or facilities.

Oh and pubs that happen to be close to any road, well they’ll have a duty of responsibility to make sure smokers’ don’t hang about outside.

Then they’ll discover it isn’t restricted to smokers’. Then the crap hits the fan!

    • harleyrider1978 says:

I worked in a tire plant the only place any was exposed to carbon black was in the Banbury where the raw rubber was mixed and carbon black added to the mix with other solidified materials. Carbon Black as a so called residual element from tires would only occur in tires that had been s old as to be dry rotting in the sun. If you’ve ever handled old tires you get the blackish scum on your hands. As far as breathing it in that’s complete bollocks…… theres no way enuf people could ever be exposed in enuf quantity to produce so called black lung. Remember even in coal miners it still took 20 years or longer without wearing a mask to get so called black lung. To even take nascar fans and then claim they are a big number of smokers and by the race track as rubber is peeled on the roadway and then breathed in by the audience creates a black lung hazard is without merit in any form. Its truly just another avenue of junk ass science trying any pitiful excuse to keep their so called failure in tobacco control claims going……….their a sinking ship and the above proves how desperate they are as their credibility sinks under the waves.

Funny thing though was synthetic tires were developed by a few chemists from Commonwealth countries during early WW2 when something was needed to keep tires on trucks and jeeps. So the original work really was done to save lives and that it did because there was no access at that low point to natural latex. They turned out to be lower in cost and capable of making safer tires and after the war became the way auto manufacturers went. Truly, it was done under stressful conditions by a handful of young men who did want to do the right thing. Not one died of lung disease and I only know that because I was a young child who have now outlived all of them. They fortunately missed this article in the DM.

So about a million times the probable level of this pollutant is harmful. What a surprise

Now the charletons are down to nano particles to blame disease on. As its already been proven by Prof Enstrom any particle that gets in the lungs absorbs mositure and becomes bigger an we just cough it out.

A very interesting document. They base their strategy on meetings and funding and organisation because, as others have pointed out, they actually believe they are fighting the tobacco industry.

What they are fighting are smokers – with no organisation, no meetings, no plan and no funding. They are using tanks against guerillas. They have a command structure and leaders, we do not. They have weak links in the chain of command, we have no chain of command. They have a system that can be broken, we have no system at all.

This is the antismokers’ Vietnam. They can’t win because they are fighting an invisible enemy.

Donald Trump is now unstoppable, he has 51% of the vote counting 2nd chances and choices, which means if candidates start dropping out soon, as they are likely to do as their supporters face the difficult task of defending someone doing so poorly in the polls, they will gravitate to Trump.

Trump’s campaign is now considered by many insiders to be “unstoppable” and the outcry for others to bow out is becoming deafening.
Trump would gain all of Ted Cruz’s support if Cruz were to drop out, almost all of Carson’s support, though Jeb and Rubio share supporters. Jeb and Rubio, combined, however, equal only 10% of the vote, which is hardly a drop in the water compared to Donald.

But never quit talking him to potential voters, and FOR GOD’S SAKE, EVERYONE GET OUT AND VOTE, Primary and General Elections
